Hornitò

When you think of Bayonne, you think of ham and chocolate. What if we told you that while there, we discovered a local gem specializing in empanadas.   Miren and Jean, the owners of Hornitò,  have created a sensational eatery that offers homemade empanadas that could easily stack up to the best ones in Argentina. Their passion for Latin, Mediterranean, and Iberian cuisine are seen in all their ingredients and fillings. A few of their specialities include: Carne Suave, Pollo Verde, Jamón y Queso, and Espinaca. Even their dessert empanada sucrée stuffed with pears, almonds and “Basque nutella” is to die for.
