Euskalduna Studio

If you can describe Euskalduna Studio in one word, it would be surprise. First time visitors are briefly confused standing outside their nameless building. The door opens and they are greeted and welcomed in a dimly lit, mysterious dining room. The suspense continues with their set menu presented behind a blank white card. You may choose to peek at the courses but the staff recommends diners to embrace the unknown. Combine Japanese influence, French cooking techniques and seasonal Portuguese ingredients and you get outstanding plates like beautiful tuna and rice, tender oxtail and kimchi and tasty shallot tarte tartin. Easily one of the best restaurants in Porto.
